Strategi Pelatihan Keselamatan untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Pengemudi dan Mekanik di PT. Bina Bersama Sejahtera

Abstract

Training is a crucial component in supporting the Safety Management System, aiming to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of workers, particularly drivers, to ensure they can perform their duties safely and efficiently. This study was conducted at PT. Bina Bersama Sejahtera, referencing PM 85 of 2018 on Safety Management Systems, with the objective of designing an effective competency enhancement and training procedure. The design focuses on identifying constraints and weaknesses observed during fieldwork. The methods used include identifying training needs through surveys, observations, and interviews, developing a training needs matrix, creating training materials, implementing the training, and evaluating and documenting training outcomes. With this comprehensive design, it is expected that the productivity, competency, and work quality of drivers will be improved, and the safety aspects within the company will be continuously enhanced.
