EVALUASI PENERAPAN SISTEM MANAJEMEN KESELAMATAN PENGANGKUTAN ANGKUTAN UMUM (PT SUMBER ALAM EKSPRES)

Abstract

 PT Sumber Alam Ekspres is a company engaged in the transportation sector with the corporate mission of "Providing land transportation services that prioritize safety, punctuality, and excellent service." This research aims to understand the implementation, obstacles, and efforts in executing the Public Transportation Safety Management System (SMK PAU). The study employs 10 SMK elements, using a qualitative descriptive method supported by data from instruments, observations, and interviews. The results show that PT Sumber Alam Ekspres has implemented 9 out of 10 SMK elements. PT Sumber Alam Ekspres faces several challenges in implementing the SMK PAU documents, particularly in the Monitoring and Evaluation element of the non-conformance report form. The recommendation includes creating a website containing Rampcheck, vehicle damage, and accident reports to improve the Safety Management System at PT Sumber Alam Ekspres.
