The Christmas and New Year holiday period was characterized by a significant increase in vehicle traffic volume in Bantul Regency, requiring optimal traffic management. This community service was implemented through a micro-internship program involving transportation technology students from the Politeknik Keselamatan Transportasi Jalan in collaboration with the Bantul Regency Transportation Department. The service objectives were: (1) to provide practical experience to students in traffic management, (2) to support the operations of Christmas and New Year posts, and (3) to conduct vehicle testing services. The implementation method included direct observation, assistance at posts, vehicle testing, and coordination with the Ganjuran Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Results showed that an average of 4,500 vehicles per day were monitored during the peak period, with motorcycles dominating at 58.3%. Vehicle testing services were conducted for 1,200 units with a pass rate of 70.8%. Post activities were distributed across three shifts with the afternoon shift recording the highest activity (750 total activities). Service evaluation showed good performance with an average score of 4.23 out of 5.0, with emergency response receiving the highest rating (4.6). This program successfully bridged the gap between education and the workforce while enhancing the quality of public services during the holiday period.
